December was fun – we tried to do as many holiday activities as possible, made ornaments and garland, traveled to New Mexico, and even got our first taste of snow of the season.

Monthly Update – October 2020
Gosh, October was a big month. I’m definitely going to have to make this a two-part series. We made two trips to Chelsea, celebrated Halloween, hunkered down through a freak ice-storm, and tried to keep our favorite fall traditions as normal as possible. It was an incredible month.
Construction Party
Chief decided MONTHS ago that the thing he wanted more than anything in the world was an excavator party. He wanted all his friends to wear construction hats, work vests, and he wanted to eat Chick-Fil-A. The boy knows what he wants.

We took a quick trip to New Mexico to see family. Chief played hard with cousins, pretended he was a cowboy at Blain and Lala’s, and ruled the roost at Big & Honey’s.

August was an exciting month for our little man – we took a trip to the lake (first time since Memorial Day!), continued our weekly Sunday Supper Club, and he started school! He has been excited about school for months. He couldn’t hardly wait to be around friends again.

We needed a change of scenery. We took our camper and spent nearly two weeks in the mountains of southwest Colorado and northern New Mexico. It was so incredible to be away from cell service, social media, and news outlets.
