When planning this post, I decided that instead of giving you a play-by-play of our weekend it would make much more sense to tell you what I can’t get enough of as of late. This weekend was the first weekend since being home that I moved off of the couch, so of course I had to make up for lost time.
Let’s get down to it. Here’s what I’m REALLY loving lately:
I think this goes with out saying, but I’m REALLY loving this guy lately. We celebrated our 6th anniversary this weekend! 2,191 days with this dreamboat and I still think he’s the coolest. I say this all the time, but he really is the best roommate ever. We wanted to make it really special so Chase played in a 3 on 3 basketball tournament all day. 😉 He made it up to me by taking me to my favorite spot in Norman – Benvenuti’s.
As a 29 year old the one thing I asked for for my birthday was a new vacuum. I think that officially means I’ve crossed over into the “no fun” zone, but whatever – my floors look awesome!
Sheet Pan Meals
This is my new goal in life – make all my meals using only a sheet pan. Throw everything on a sheet pan and dinner is ready in 25 minutes. Best part? No dishes. I got this recipe from Everyday Occasions, get the recipe here. It was so simple and so delicious!
Plants That Don’t Die
Well not easily anyway. I did some planting this weekend and I find comfort in knowing that I can’t kill these babes. Maybe I should’ve planted these in all my planters? Next year…
I mean, really. There’s nothing better than summer berries. I’ve been eating them by the handfuls. #noberryleftbehind, y’all.
I finally got back to my normal workout routine this weekend. If you would’ve told me a few years ago that this would be something “I’m loving,” I would’ve called you crazy. But really, it’s amazing how great I feel when I’m able to sweat. I had my first HIIT kickboxing class in over a month yesterday at Next Level Fitness Studio. That class was hard before, but yesterday was whole ‘nother level. You can come back anytime now strength and endurance…
Happy Tuesday, friends!
