While we are on the subject of avocados, I wanted to share my favorite hydrating smoothie. This smoothie contains two super foods that have been found to have anti-aging benefits: avocados, which are rich in healthy fats and antioxidants; and coconut water, nature’s Gatorade – hydrating and regenerating your skin from the inside out. This smoothie will have you on the road to beautiful, glowing skin in no time.
Glowing Skin Smoothie (Print Me!)
- 1 LARGE handful spinach
- 1 cup coconut water (it’s really delicious with pineapple coconut water!)
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 cup frozen pineapple
Add spinach and coconut water to your blender. Blend until smooth. Add in avocado and pineapple, blend until smooth. Add additional coconut water or ice to reach desired consistency.
Drink your smoothie, relax with an avocado mask, and then apply (my personal favorite) unrefined coconut oil as a moisturizer. You’re glowing already.
