I am now completely back into the swing of things! Back to my work schedule, back to my teaching schedule, and back to normal. It’s so awesome!
Since I’ve been back from Italy, I’ve had some changes to my teaching schedule. The biggest change? After 2½ years of teaching Barre at Next Level Fitness Studio, I gave it up this last week. Hardest decision I’ve made in a long time. Next Level is where I started teaching, where I gained my teaching chops, and where I formed my first group of regulars. My regular Barre girls hold a special place in my heart. They have been with me since the beginning and have become really great friends of mine over the years.
I gave up my Barre classes because I was offered a 6:00pm class at Yoga at Tiffany’s Norman on Tuesday/Thursday. I have been wanting to increase my yoga schedule, so when they offered, I just couldn’t turn it down.
I haven’t done a “where you can find me” update in a while, so no time like the present, right?
Another slight change to my schedule is my 4:15 class on Mon/Wed is now non-heated! I think no heat will be a welcome change when we begin to have 100° days.
How about a playlist too? It’s also been a while since I shared one. If you don’t listen to anything else on this list, check out the new Florence + The Machine Third Eye, the cover of Home/Dirty Paws by Gardiner Sisters, and I Of The Storm by Of Monsters and Men. I’m pretty sure I would add “Mary Had a Little Lamb” to my playlist if Of Monsters and Men sang it.
See you on the mat!
